Pasara, the
Istrian workhorse.

Wooden-bellied, low-slung, born for shallow Adriatic water. Ours are kept by hand each spring — varnish, brass, and a 5hp Yamaha that purrs along at a beach-walking pace.

The archipelago

Coves you'll
reach by noon.

Fourteen islets ring the Old Town. Some have a single pine; some hide a shipwreck-snorkel; one has a 19th-century summer palace. All are yours for the afternoon.

Before you cast off

Common questions.

The honest answers — what you'll actually need, what's already on the boat, and what to do if the wind picks up.

Do I really not need a boating license?
Correct. Croatia exempts boats with engines up to 5 hp from any licensing requirement. We'll give you a 15-minute briefing at the dock that covers the essentials — starting, steering, anchoring, and the no-go zones around the old town port.
How many people fit on a Pasara?
Up to five adults, comfortably. Two couples plus a friend, or a small family with children. Children of any age are welcome — we provide life jackets in all sizes.
What's already on the boat?
Bimini sun shade, a cool box with ice, swim ladder, anchor, paper map of the archipelago, life jackets, dry bag, and a fully fuelled tank. You bring snacks, towels, and sun cream.
What if the weather turns?
If the morning forecast is unsafe — strong bura or jugo, lightning — we cancel and refund or reschedule, your call. The Pasara is a sheltered-water boat, so we don't go out in rough conditions.
Where do we meet?
Mali Mol, the small harbour just below the old town. We'll send you the exact pin on WhatsApp once your booking is confirmed. Parking is a 2-minute walk away at Valdibora.
How do I pay?
Cash or card on the day, at the dock. No deposit, no online card form. If you need a written invoice for work, just ask when booking.

"It felt like the Adriatic handed us its keys for the afternoon — fifteen minutes of instructions and the rest of the day was simply ours."
