Between seven and nine the harbour empties of day-boats and the light goes long. The bell-tower of St. Euphemia turns from white to amber to bronze, the channel flattens, and the wind drops to nothing. You'll have most of the bay to yourself — a working boat, a fuelled tank, and a slow loop home as the dock lights come on.
Cast off, head south past the bell-tower, follow the channel out to Sv. Katarina. Drift the western shore until you're behind Crveni — the lee side gets the last of the light. Anchor for twenty minutes, then take the long way home around Punta Corrente. You'll be back at the dock as the harbour lights come on.

If the evening forecast says above 15 knots in our window, we cancel and refund. If we're already at sea we shorten the loop — you don't pay more, the meter doesn't run.
